I wish I could find the 't-shirt study'. I heard about it in my Biological Anthropology class, it's really interesting... Searching for that brought me to this.

Here on ClipMarks recently, I've read that they believe now that the solution as to why sperm always swim in the correct direction is SMELL! That makes smelling your potential partner as ordinary, it would seem to me.

I read a head line about that, the sprem smell thing. It's amazing how much more we know and are finding out in relation to how 'young' modern humans are in the grand evolutionary time line.

It is also true, jatfla, that one person's stinky is another person's delicious. Our olfactory senses are mysterious.

In the Tshirt study i was trying to find (and others), it was found one likes the way a person smells (even sweat/bo smells) IF the DNA is dissimilar from their own. A short synopsis of the study;
Men were asked to wear one shirt and not shower or wear deodarant or anything for 7days (i think). The shirts were put in individual containters. Without the men present, the women came in a ranked the smells. The compared the info and found a corellation between DNA and whose...
