For a long time the Catholic Church held the opinion that anbaptised child wasn't being allowed into Paradise. Those unfortunate enough to die before baptism were most often put into unkarked graves.

The Catholic Church has a lot to answer for. Abortion is a sin but an unbaptized baby is basically garbage?
