Seeing as this issue has been discussed in a number of ways this week, I thought I would clip this interesting commentary.

So rest assured everyone: numbers of rapes committed in the UK have fallen dramatically. There are fewer than 10 "real rapes" every year. We women can feel safer in our beds at night.

I rather think it's more a case of the vast majority of rapes going unreported. That's the current trend.

Indeed, it is women who are getting themselves drunk, and therefore are wholly responsible for getting themselves raped

Some people really feel this way.
