egoldstein says: Seems to me that the point of having Superdelegates was to make the wisest strategic decision if the primaries didn't result in a clear winner. Speaking objectively, you would have to think these statistics are weighing heavily on the minds of those in support of Obama. This Wall Street Journal article seems to be using Survey USA's latest polling data. Using Survey USA Data Obama beats McCain in Virginia, Hillary loses. This negates North Carolina. Hillary still loses to McCain in Wisconsin. Then Wall Street Journal, conveniently ignores the Survey USA poll which shows Obama winning Ohio and uses a Quinnipac Poll to say he is losing Ohio. This article is right wing WSJ propaganda to push the republican candidate, democratic candidate they would prefer to run against, or continue to lengthen the democratic contest till August. Obama still beating McCain in Colorado, Hillary still losing. Okay I see who this article was written by. This article is written by Lanny Davis. Lanny Davis is the biggest Hillary schill going. Lanny is always the Hillary representative on CNN round tables with Larry King. Lanny is so ridiculous he keeps repeating an old Massachusetts poll that has since been surpassed by many recent polls to argue that Obama would actually lose Massachusetts when Obama creams McCain in Massachusetts. Obama is ahead of McCain in Massachusetts by 51% to 39%. With all due respect egoldstein, this article is garbage. lol, sounds like we have a scared Obama supporter here.... Not at all. I will look at anyone's reasonable data. Lanny Davis cherry picks his data to paint a skewed picture. If you've ever seen Lanny Davis on TV you know one thing. He is a 125% Hillary supporter. This article is agenda driven more than it is fact driven. My opinion is that either Democratic candidate will beat McCain. The Democratic voters are selecting Obama and that should be the candidate. Party leaders overturned the chosen candidate by the Democratic voters in 1968 and it turned out to be a disaster resulting in the election of Richard Nixon. Choosing Hillary over the voters wishes will tell hundreds of thousands of young new Democratic voters that the voting process is a s... Campaigning for the general election has yet to begin in earnest. Remember, Hillary was ahead by 20 points against Obama a year ago, and "won" FL and MI because Obama didn't campaign there. It's name recognition, favoring the famous, until the campaign's cooking on the front burner. |
