Anxiety disorders are widespread and affect more than 40 million people in the US alone, yet they are some of the most difficult conditions to accurately diagnose and treat. Most of their anxiety attack symptoms can either be considered "normal" or be linked to various other physical and mental conditions. One of the most frightening conditions, associated with anxiety disorders are the anxiety (panic) attacks - in most cases they are sudden and can last for hours and in rare cases up to a day.
