To bad news. This article contains an interesting chart showing how the "experts" were 90% bullish on the economy in November 2007, a mere 90 days before the bottom started falling out.

And we continue to listen to those people. Makes me feel we deserve the world of hurt that is going to rain down on us.

I just don't want to live through it, but I am preparing-as best I can.

The more one is invested in the future, the stronger the urge is to believe that it will be positive. We shouldn't be too hard on ourselves, after all, without that positive attitude, we wouldn't have tried to begin with. If we never try, we never have anything at all. We shouldn't judge our own success by another's failure. Successful people will lose their jobs today, not because they failed but because our leadership has failed. We deserve to be angry. We don't deserve to have that anger turn inward.

I am firmly invested in the future. My husband and I are personally on the hook for over $1.5 million dollars for a company that was expanded right before the manufacturing economy collapsed in this country.

We have been fighting for 6 years. 4 years ago we chose to bring a life into this world.

3 years ago I realized the "experts" were idiots and the government was crushing what makes America great.

Last year I realized that the majority of our fellow citizens have partook of the kool-aid.

And the ones that haven't, refuse to DO anything but "hope" what made America great will return.

I no longer have that faith. We are too divided, too protectionist, too reliant on a all encompass...

Sometimes survival doesn't look like much until you almost die, then it becomes number 1 real quick. It sounds to me that you still have the most important things in life, something to hold on to, something to save other than just yourself. As hard as it is to look ahead, there is still a future after this. You're smart enough to get through the bad times. You have a lot going for you and by the way, that first guy that "popped" this clip, is one of the owners of clipmarks. I should hang out with you, you attract success.

It is a hard lesson to learn. I wish for all those willing (in both senses of the word, as in the point of this wise clip) to be deluded (and, in the spirit of the wisdom of the clip, that means all of us) by the machinery of rhetoric, the velvet glove that hides an iron claw, survival and growth and fulfilment.

One can actually come out of these hard times a better person. We can grow in ways we've never had the opportunity before. We can become stronger.

Some of us can Chestnut.

Guess I've spent too much time with the "average" American.

As a former headhunter, now business owner and complete Internet addict, I see what the real America has become.

Once I back what I see with personal experience-my own friends and family, who come from the most diverse backgrounds-it chills me.

Thanks for the wonderful comments. And thanks for helping me find a few cognizant humans that look beyond what we are told. That gives me some hope

A kindred spirit. I've gone a very similar track to your in the shedding of the veil, as it were. Similar revelations about the masses, the gov't, their seeming intentions, and similar questions and insights. Difference being I am not, and haven't been as business savvy or purposeful and responsible in life as it seems you are. Your achievements are admirable, and it's easy to say but keep the faith. And remember that you were strong, real and forward-looking before you had anything, and if it all comes tumbling down you have not lost. Sorry to go on like this. The "points" you are after via your clips are like mine.

I remember the first day several months ago, that it hit me. A wide-angle take, in a sense, of what has, or seems to have been finished. Done with. Like OVER. I felt in a mild state of shock.
And the thing was coming in with arrogance, without apology or humility. And trying my very best to stay clear of the conspiracy "template" re: the New World Order, one world gov't, the Rockefeller-Rothschild stuff, you know, I couldn't get away from what seemed like a firm realization dawning on me with undeniabl...

That's only one element of my shock. I see hints of my other levels in your other clips.
Thanks for the space to spout.
Keep on!
