"Smile, breathe, and go slowly". Yes that works for me. The old breathe and count to ten method I try and use when I get upset. Sometimes it works the first time sometimes a second try. I'm not close to being a Zen monk but it really calms me down when I'm upset. Smile, breathe and go slowly......what great principles they are. I'm nowhere near being a Zen monk, but those twelve principles really make sense, and would be a good guide for living life to the full. |
