I lived at Canyon Lake during both floods. It's great they have FINALLY opened it to the public!! Only by seeing what was there before it was a gorge: can one truely grasp just how awesome this act of God is. I use to drive my daughter to school everyday over the litte creek(more like a little ditch) that in less than a week, was turned into a HUGE GORGE. This photo does not come close to representing just how AWESOME the force of nature can be. I'm glad i saw this photo Now that it has opened I neeed to return to see just how AWESOME it really is!!!
