I find these stories... healing. I know that men like Tawfik are in a minority but he gives me hope for a brighter future.

It's amazing to see an Egyptian, with all of the brainwashing and rhetoric on the daily basis all around him, to be able to overcome all of this and see things as they actually are and not as everyone keeps telling him they are. One has to wonder how alzawahiri and him came out from the same circle. This is exactly the kind of man the palestinians need to lead them out of the ditch they're in. I certainly hope Abbas gets his shot at leading them in the right direction and not get shot himself in the process.
