So an aha! moment tonight. It was something that I had been seeing through various perusing of people's clips here and on amplify, this sudden wave of "hermaphrodites coming out of the closet", mostly in sports. I know they have been around for far longer than just now.

Here is the history of my personal understanding. Gays came out of the closet - they threw a spanner in the works of "liberal heterosexual" relationships. Now, it "feels" we are moving to another level of acceptance/learning/tolerance/evolution???

These people for me are like the physical symbol of each and every male or female acknowledging that they are more than their mere physical body. I am more than a physical man/woman. Our attachment to our genders has created so many distortions in the way we treat each other and this has been abused by most mainstream religions.

Our attachment to sexuality has also distorted things. Maybe this is "us forcing ourselves to change" into something more harmonious, more complete??? More liberated beyond the boxes of our consensual agreements???
