Whenever I take these tests (and I've done a bunch of 'em) I almost always end up with Kucinich and Gravel in 1st and 2nd place and 3rd usually going to one of the remaining of either party, like McCain, Obama, Biden or Dodd. The last place usually goes to second-tier Republicans like Thompson, Tancredo, Hunter and Brownback, although Romney usually stubs his toe on the bottom of the barrel, too.

Kucinich was mayor of Cleveland, and many senators started out as representatives or governors. It would take a lot of time that I don't really want to spend looking up the resumes of presidential candidates throughout history, but it's important to note that incubents, senators and representatives have a leg up on others because the political press corps is located in DC and so are they. Given the laziness of human nature, the presss people give more coverage to the people in their backyard.
