Alot of crimes have been solved because of DNA evidence.
Like everything in this world, there are multiple sides to every argument. But as always, we are given (by media) the fluffy side.

We got to ask ourselves why would a government need our DNA besides criminal profiling? Surely everybody is not a criminal?

The database has more to do with DNA profiling. Maybe even eugenics? (that dirty word). What ever its use, one thing is certain: its not just for tracking criminals.
