Maybe he was a drug dealer? Or maybe he had just withdrawn his life saving to give to a homeless relative? We don't know and shouldn't care...yet now such things "bring you under suspicious."

I have developed some useful tactics in light of this growing Orwellian threat.

It's pretty simple: #1. Don't advocate violence or illegal acts.

#2. I make it clear I'm proposing political tactic or legal actions.

This suits me quite well, since I see violence as very counter-productive and ugly and not an appropriate tool for domestic political change in the USA. Maybe if you were living in a real-world state-of-war where life-or-death violence was aimed at you, you could think differently.

#3. IF and MAYBE are useful words (look at the previous sentence). You don't get convicted in courts because "maybe," you were thinking about something; maybe.

Maybe somebody should do a citizen arrest of torture approvers Dick Cheney, or Donald Rumsfield, is a good example of a maybe idea...and maybe someone should do that.

#4. Just because you are watched....being watched is not evidence or anything and inf fact, if not done in accord with laws, it's not evidence at all.

#5. Don't be afraid esp. of hypotheticals.

#6. Be public. You're not hiding anything.
