It's possible. I've heard of football players studying ballet because of the limbering exercises helping to prevent injuries.

Doesn't mean ballet itself is manly though... perhaps if there was more bloodshed.

Have you ever seen two footballers doing ballet where they run at each other, jump, and meet in mid-air. Painful.
