even if there is some link between vaccinations and autism, it can't possibly be via mercury, as you point out; and the fact that they are still riding that horse, as well as peddling mercury detox treatments, shows how out of touch they are.

The evidence shows that in the worst case scenario, if there is a link, it must be something that only a tiny fraction of the population is sensitive to, perhaps genetically; and that is against a background of a much larger number of people who develop autism for no reason associated with vaccines. even with those caveats, the truth may be that in reality there is no link whatsoever.
