The Dr. expresses an understandable concern. Nonetheless, unless you have been within the modern medical system, it is difficult to appreciate just how much of a self-advocate one must be for the best outcome, and once you are in it and grasp this idea, it may be easy to lose proportion of your efforts.

When you question authority, or competency, some of those who are questioned get terribly defensive. And vindictive. Especially the arrogant ones, like this doctor.

That's freaky

How about the people that research their illness and then try to get the doctor to prescibe medication that has nothing to do with their indigestion.
