Certainly a beer or two, (in moderation, of course) is a much saner and readily accessible idea. Motorcycles, too, will always one day prove to be dangerous. It WAS a brief flashback though, 4sure. I once did act in such a way. After 40 kilometers or so, though, I came to my sense. These sure have been interesting times. Much better now. I heard it as a Chinese curse and it is phrased "May you live IN interesting times" Oh well. As Far as the curtain goes - wasn't it Green? Any reference to the "The" green earth movement ? Governments - even of social clubs - are into symbolism. Just look at the dollar bill. hhuuuummmmm @dulios you are right about Chinese quote. I was surprised to find it quoted the way it was...but then I thought it was okay. I couldn't find nor remember it the way you quoted it correctly -- but it sort of works both ways, no? Green Earth --Yes...global warming realization, 4sure...big plans for solar and alternative energy programs... Obama is a very decent man, with great integrity and good ideas. I guess in political smear campaigns some don't see that and we just hear the trash talk. We're in good hands. Let's see how things go. |
