If that law had been in effect 20 years ago, the Shrub could never have grabbed the land to build the Ballpark in Arlington and US politics would have been quite different in the time since.

I think it forces corporations to think ahead, instead of steal under the law. That is a good thing.

Curious....

But my comment was directed at those derailing the discussion, which should be about Eminent Domain and how it is used to seize private property, not for public good but to gifted to other private owners who grease the palms of local governments with money and promises.

I agree with you on the eminent domain law, but I couldn't resist. This was Obama's "Katie Couric" moment but for SOME reason

never quite got the same level of attention.
