About 80 religious leaders and clerics from 42 countries yesterday convened at Ceylan Intercontinental Hotel in İstanbul for the seventh Eurasian Islamic Council meeting, hosted by the Religious Affairs Directorate of Turkey, in order to promote the message that Islam is a good religion but that some of its practitioners may not properly abide by its guiding principles.
