ANKARA, Turkey — Turkish warplanes have bombed Kurdish rebel bases in northern Iraq, the military said Sunday, two days after rebels killed 15 soldiers in an attack staged partly from Iraqi soil.

Tell us please how this is any different than the U.S. striking targets in Pakistan? Oh, that's right, people could care less about the Kurds, so it doesn't matter. What about Iraqi airspace being violated? A sovereign nation- blah, blah, etc...

Jumping into a boatload of conclusions are we?

The situation is a bad, if not worse, considering that Iraq is supposed to be getting better, and yet one one hand US allies the Turks have, following American doctrine, attacked unilaterally into another nation (which is not by the way sovereign in anyway shape or form) while another US ally, the Kurds are harboring the PKK within them.
