That’s right, <EM>air</EM> car.</p> <P>Now <A href="http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive/new_cars/4251491.html">Popular Mechanics</A> reports that a car that runs on compressed air will come to the United States for 2010. Unlike other air-car models being designed for Europe and India, the United States will get a six-passenger, vanlike model called the CitiCAT. The MiEv is a microcar about the size of the Smart but with four doors. The first 1,400 cars will be available via lease to government and corporations in late July. Sales to individuals will begin in April 2010, but pre-orders will be taken online this summer.
