I would not call them "unamerican". They merely represent the dark side of the human psyche. All nations have them. Question is, how do you keep them out of power so that they do not visit these horrors on others.

Yes, it's sort of like, Star Wars has Darth Vader and we have Limbaugh and Coulter. I'd rather have Vader. He's much more likable and sincere.
