I suppose many would have likened the suffragettes to terrorists as well. These women are seriously up against it, and do have their work cut out for them, the violence against women in this area of the world is so huge I do not see "peaceful" protests and talks have gotten them anywhere aside from the receiving end of a stoning, hanging, or set aflame! Many resort to pouring gas on themselves, or suicide just to get out of their repressed lives. Why is it if men take up arms to fight their oppressors, they are patriots and heroes (General George Washington, Paul Revere, and company) but when women fight for their civil rights they are vigilantes or terrorists?
