One of the great tragedies of the Middle East has been the virtual destruction of Lebanon.

Lovely set of photos. My friend visited there once and told me that he snow skied in the morning and was sunbathing on the beach that same afternoon! The jewel of the Middle East has been destroyed. Sad.
