I'd be thrilled with a mediocre president. It's a big step forward.

Granted McCain really lacks a lot in my book of what would make a good president.

However, compared to Obama McCain is preferred much like pleasure over pain. I don't like McCain, I really, really don't like Obama.

As someone put it recently this electorial process has ED (Electile Dysfunction): the inability to become aroused over any of the choices for President put forth by either party in the 2008 election year.

300 million people in this country and the best we can do for a presidential election is McCain and Obama. What is wrong with this picture?

My answer: Hell no!

I think that's how we got in this situation. If there is a perfect candidate out there, republican, democrat, or otherwise, I bet his answer is the same as mine.

(Luckily I'm an atheist which prevents me from being considered for any elected office.)
