I'd liked to have seen FEMA issue a release like this before hurricane season. We still want to believe a magical white stallion will rescue us no matter how little we do to help ourselves.

“People are so reliant on (hotlines like) 911, thinking it’s (rescue) going to happen (soon). The fact is it’s not,” he added.
