It is highly unlikely they have moved anything faster than light. The quantum tunnel effect has been known for many years now. Tunneling is not the same as movement. It will be interesting to see how the scientific community addresses this. I've suspected much of relativity to about physicalism and materialism. I hope this story is true. However, I doubt that the results prove what they suspect. ROTFLMAO!!!! Yes! I forgot you are a bartender. so did they end up back before they started? This sounds familiar. If I'm not mistaken, something like this has been done close to a decade ago. It just sounds really fantastic but keep in mind there's a huge difference between measuring a response in an instrument earlier than the speed of light would allow particles to travel to it and actually transporting matter at ultra-relativistic speeds. Potentially interesting ramifications in communication, however. How about 300 times c, or even a negative velocity?
