Awesome!!! If Bush won't represent this country in this vital interest, I love Schwarzenegger for stepping up and saying "I'll do it." and "I'll be back" Seems like the politicians are trying to feign leadership, when they are threatened with the obvious. Whatever the reason, they are starting to realize global warming is more than a threat to money or electoral standing. I imagine Tony Blair, wanting to repair his standing tarnished by the events of the past few years, would rather have a Legacy that reflected his efforts to fight, and recover from the effects of global warming, perhaps industrial pollution in general. Arnold ? He's just the sort of person who can make recycling seem heroic, and convince enough doubters that their efforts will help save the planet from any consequence of our artificial lifestyle. When businesses and governments can find more ways to make money from alternative, clean fuels and eco-technology, everyone will fall in-line. The economics will eventually drive change, not prevent it. it is time... come with me if you want to live!! 'Schwarzenegger said, while praising Blair's policies.' As one who has to live under Blair's policies - and is dying because of them - I ask how much does AS actually know about those policies - or care? |
