onlinedesign says: When you see one who is unworthy... examine your own character. ~Confucius This is profound. Does it mean that when you identify someone who is "unworthy" of your Friendship, you "know" who he is because of some same flaw or quality you recognize within yourself? Either way, you have to be good to yourself first, then share that goodness with others. You first, best and nearest "friends" are the people in your own home. Beware of toxic friendships. Know the warning signs of "users" and "abusers". Excellent clip and well said online. Many relationships can have deep feelings but be very emotionally unhealthy and it is sometimes difficult to recognize the reasons why we keep them. Do you feel emotionally DRAINED after spending time with that person? Do they try to put you down subtly? If others are constantly dragging down our positive mindset then it's a problem. I love this clip, it really hits home with me, makes one think, the best friends are always in your home. |
