Evidence of global climate changes on two planetary bodies is pretty significant and should be looked into as a possible factor in planetary climate change.

Just because "too many scientist" have concluded that man is the cause of global warming doesn't mean that this is just one factor that needs to be examined.

Just because "too many scientist" have concluded that man is the cause of global warming doesn't mean that this is just one factor that needs to be examined.
Also, just because scientists have concluded that something is true doesn't mean that it is. One scientific constant is that there are no constants. What appears true today may be disproved tomorrow based on the amount of data available and the ability to measure and analyze that data.
Einstein once concluded that one of his own concepts, the Cosmological constant, one of the major elements of the theory of general relativity to achieve a stationary universe was incorrect. He and all of mainstream physicists, came to the conclusion that the cosmological constant was a physical impossibility and that the Universe can not be stationary. All of modern macro-physics has been based on this assumption.
Recently new discoveries are starting to add much credibility to the Cosmological Constant theory and it is considered a valid factor in the behavior of the Universe.
Einstein thought he was right. The he and everyone else thought he was wrong. Almost 100 years later, it's looking like he was right.
Should we use this new data to assume that man-made conditions are a contributing factor in global warming? Not at all. There is too much evidence to show this is a very strong possibility. Conversely, we should not ignore new data and the possible conclusions that may be drawn because "well respected scientists" have come to a contradictory conclusion.

OK now to say that Global Warming is a liberal scare tactic is just as fool hearty as saying that the variations in the Sun have no affect on Earth climate.

There is plenty of evidence that suggest that certain man-made conditions are responsible for climate change. There is at least enough evidence to regard the idea as very creditable and do more research. In fact, I feel there is enough evidence to warrant many of the preventive measures being taken to try and reduce emission of greenhouse gases. There is at least enough evidence to regard the idea as very creditable and do more research. In fact, I feel there is enough evidence to warrant many of the preventive measures being taken to try and reduce emission of greenhouse gases. Mars actually lends credibility to the greenhouse effect. There is much evidence that similar conditions existed on Mars causing a build up greenhouse gases which burned away what was left of the atmosphere. This resulted in the barren geology we see today. However, this does not give credibility to a man made cause as we are pretty positive that there were no little green men pumping pollutants into the Martian atmosphere. But we do know that too many of these gases in a "blue" atmosphere can cause these climate changes regardless of the cause. Therefore I think it is prudent to take the possibility of human contribution and attempt to solve the problem as best we can. The simple fact is, if we wait for definitive "proof" there very well may not be a lot of time to correct the problem.

The truth is, no one really knows for sure what causes Global Warming and even if it is happening at all. We haven't been recording weather and climate data long enough to determine if the Earth has drastic shifts in global climate without human intervention. The Sun may cause it, we may cause it, the undersea volcanoes may cause it. Hell, it might not even be happening.

But, I would sure as hell like to try and prevent the possibility before we figure out that it is true and it is too late to do anything.
