Why, of course! And only listen to *himself*, CNN, PBS, NYT, etc.... as if the "partisan politics" he is referring to solely reside within the Conservative agenda!! And the "important things that need to be done" are the things that the new Administration and it's Congress consider "important".

I interpreted the meaning of his remark to be taken in a rhetorical sense, although using the name Rush is a bit inflammatory.
