Ideas about right and wrong are usually matters of personal judgement.I curiously wonder what the writer thinks, as to the judgments not in the "usually" group, what THOSE are based on. Does he think there are judgments about right and wrong that are made OUTSIDE of a personal filter or set of experiences? Is there a universal right and wrong (forget God/religion) that we ought to try to elevate to and seek to reach outside of our personal judgements. I'm inclined to believe so. |
