Actually I a have very strong family values, work ethics, views on justice, as well as the desire for more people to take personal responsibility (which is exactly the opposite of what most Dems want, hardly anyone in this country believes in the right to fail anymore) and I am very aware of the total context of the Bible. The union of a gay couple is not and should not be equivilent to the union between a man and a woman. To have the government put their stamp of approval on the issue still would not make it right. Right is right and wrong will always be wrong regardless.

Maybe next we will be facing the ACLU & NAMBLA demanding their right to marry nine year old boys....Im sure some now would have no objection to that.

Any willing man is free to marry any willing woman, and vice versa.

Marriage is simply the indivisible union of 1 man and 1 woman and the seed of the most fundamental antural unit in society, the family.

You will notice that every argument the left makes for marriage redefinition is based 100% in philisophical materialism and secularism.
The US is not secular. The founding documents, the words of the founding fathers, and the federalist papers make that vividly crystal clear to anyone with functioning brain cells.
