 Antara says: I cannot believe how many of them there are, and how many got off with light sentences---this is not even half the page, and not all had pics. No wonder people home school. What percentage of incidents do you think actually become known? I suspect a large majority of incidents go without ever being known. Also, this is just women. How many men? I never did understand how another woman (a teacher!) can be attracted to a 13 year old boy. There was another teacher arrested recently. It's like the flu! It just keeps happening. Sick. That story--the boy is only 10. OMG Frightening Of course, more that a few of the abuse cases go unreported b/c of the power dynamics of the teacher - student relationship. I think there should be some sort of screening process a person, male or female has to go through before anyone is allowed to teach children of any age. No system is perfect And I'm sure there would be more cases like in the clip but, it might stop some of them and make these types of people think twice before they enter the teaching profession. I wish as a teenager i could have met some of these ladies |
