I have been using it for almost 2 yrs. now, having dropped my previous program "BiblePro" in favorite of it.

First let me say, that for the money (it is FREE), it is one of the best Bible software programs out there. Brother Rick Meyers has given us a tremendous labor of love in producing this. And I have nothing but the highest respect & gratitude towards him, despite these problems. And I am continuing to correspond with him even now seeking a remedy.

First let me say, that for the money (it is FREE), it is one of the best Bible software programs out there. Brother Rick Meyers has given us a tremendous labor of love in producing this. The program has TONS of great features, which I as a Minister have employed & enjoyed. Yet there is a serious bug in the prog. - It eats the user created "topic.top" as well as "note.not" files at times. It has happened to me twice now; and many others are reporting the same problem.
As you might imagine, this is a SERIOUS flaw to those who spend countless hours researching and collating their notes & topic indexes for daily use. Personally, I have just lost a years worth of work in Sermons and Studies, which - if I cannot somehow recover them - will have to be totally recreated.

My advice then is this: 1) If you already have it and are using it - back-up all of your *.LST, *.TOP, *.NOT files to a separate drive, ROUTINELY.
2) If you haven't downloaded/installed it: I would say go ahead and do so; yet knowing of this problem ahead of time be sure to back-up yours files as well until Rick or someone finds the fix for it.
