If you know or see a nurse, thank them today - they definitely have a rough job - thus the reason there is such a shortage of nurses - it is a tough job.

I say thanks to all my friends and family that are in the nursing field and even those I don't know. Thank you all who are nurses and may you have many good days in a row.

I thought it was a shame that one of the very first comments was from somebody saying "You think YOU had a bad day? What about your patient, the one who DIED?"

As if only one person at a time gets to have a bad day, and if anybody else has a bigger challenge to deal with than the one you're dealing with, you aren't actually having a bad day so if you're not happy it's your own fault you self-pitying loser... *sigh*

How about a little compassion for everybody?
