Parents and Cops were respected, and it wasn't an act to try to reflect the warmth you held for humanity. Then the government stepped in. We could no longer have prayer in school...might offend a minority of people. No longer stood to do the pledge of allegiance.....that offended some that were not from this country. Even though child abuse may have been less then 1% children were taught if your parents spank you or correct you tell your teacher or somebody. So kids gained rights and the parents were left to have to deal with them telling to go f____ themselves. And now we sit back and wonder what happened. Why is society the way it is without a clue and looking dumbfounded. I am a very simple man, no more education then the average collage grad but don't have to be a brain surgeon for me to figure it out. Thanks Government..... Yea! There was never kids killing kids and parents years back! A testimonial of just how sick society has become, but hell it is exactly what the crazies what. You have parents ready to sue school districts for either verbally abusing their kids or for simple reprimands. These same irresponsible parents who could give a damn less about the brats they raise without any parental guidance unless they see a chance to gain financially. Parents who can not be burdened with actually teaching their kids morals or anything else except the value of money. They do not believe in disciplining their kids and will not allow anyone else to either, these same parents later wonder why their darling little angels turned out to be ugly little devils. When I was in s... yeah definitely then. Like i said in post wasn't a perfect Norman Rockwell world. But worse thing had to worry about was the duck and cover school drills...lol Had my ear pulled more then once by teacher and knuckles smacked.. Cops may give you a talking to behind the barn but after that never even thought about being bad. And actually had respect for the law. A society that has no penalties of any severity for crimes reaps what it sews. Take Tampa Florida for example. And reason is judges there scared to death to punish criminals. child molesters, rapists, robbers, you name ... In my family, my daughter's fiance seems to think disciplining the children is my job. But he does nothing to re-enforce what I'm trying to teach them. |
