Just listen to the last few seconds of the video. If that is not Imperial arrogance that I don't know what is. And people wonder how the U.S. got involve in such messes as Iraq and Vietnam.

It's all good. It's excellent. Pilinger is always good.

Does everyone know the contents or why is no one popping or viewing this excellent UTube?

Because its a truth that very few Americans, even those that consider themselves liberals want to acknowledge. Just look at the reaction from the one interviewee. Cussing and wailing, and then basically confirming everything Pilinger is saying.

in 1989, when a Salvadoran army patrol burst into the Central American University and murdered six Jesuit priests, their cook and her daughter. Some of the victims were executed lying face down on the ground. Human rights groups were quick to accuse the US of aiding and abetting El Salvador's military regime. This was not an idle allegation.

TERRIFYING !! the interview is terrifying.
In France we had a village ORADOUR SUR GLANE which was set ablaze, ALL people (but 3 survivors) gunned, packed in a church which has been set ablaze...
The people who did that were SS soldiers.
Few of their chiefs have been tried and hanged !

Fortunately they have not been interviewed. But the man who responds to the interview can let us imagine who thoses guys are, and they are still in power

Good first comment. Yes, I knew something of that SS massacre. In our civil war, Irish killed Irish, which is worse. For decades no one spoke about it and maybe for the better in the case of Ireland and Europe. We both seem to have progressed enough since to make the pain and sacrifice worth while. It's when there is no return or lesson learnt that the pain and suffering seems meaningless. That the USA is contemplation war with Iran makes the sacrifice of so many lives in Iran seem pointless.

Now Toulouse, thats another matter. Rugby cap...

Well I have to disagree there righthand, you need to talk about it, because in the absence of truth, rumor, innuendo and myth fill the void and leads to history repeating itself. I mean I don't wish for or it to happened in Ireland again, neither do I for see it happening in my lifetime, but its best that the truth be recorded for posterity.

Yes, historians have and are writing about the 'Troubles'. Before it was too raw and some one was on the receiving end. Britain never vacated anywhere peacefully. Often the subsequent war was a civil war as they attempted to leave their gang in power. Zimbabwe has not yet, but it's coming.
