I would be interested in knowing what evidence you have that the pair who were convicted were Christians, since the original article made no mention of that -- and unless you have some convincing evidence, your title is rather disingenuous.

Or would you say that all atrocities committed by Russians in the Stalin period were carried out by "Christians"? Most of the political leaders of Bosnia (and the rest of the disintegrating Yugoslavia) in that period were unreconstructed communist warlords, jumping on the nationalist bandwagon to feather their own nests. "Muslim" was a nationality in those days, rather than a religious designation.

Many of the rank and file were Greek Orthodox so that would make them Christians as the war was wrap tightly with Serb national identity, regardless off the leaders actual belief systems.

Funny how some cast blanket accusations against "Muslims" for all the violence in the world but when the spotlight shines on other groups, like, oh I don't know, Christians, they are quick to demand clarification.

Gosh, Hayes, the Serbian war was a Christians vs Muslims war, left over from the cultures established by the Orthodox and Ottoman wars. And in this case, the Christians were the barbarians.

A person wears a robe while they scream at someone, and it's a Muslim Terrorist striking, but when it's a Christian who is actually being a terrorist, people are more than ready to hem and haw, wanting "proof" that its a Christian.

News Flash: Christians are just as likely to be savage barbarians as Muslims, or any other religion. Just look at the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition; or if you want a current example, take Rev. Fred Phelps, who demonstrates at the funerals of soldiers killed in the Middle East, claiming that the soldiers were killed by God because they were gay.
