Obama has hung out with no terrorists. He has not advocated hanging out with terrorists (although McCain, when Hamas came to power, advocated talking to them, and recently Rice, Gates, and Powell have advocated talking to Iran).
I'm with Alanocu: both conservatives and liberals (and, I'd add, libertarians) have valid arguments - strong points - the influence of which are badly needed.
Distortion and exaggeration, tho' - well, seems to me they throw America off the track, and the beauty of one's position - even one's libertarian position - gets lost in the schlock.
