merrie says: It started out we just couldn't talk about his ears. Now we can't say anything about him. Who Obama is rubbing shoulders with is more of the issue for me. His ears and skin look fine - I don't see why Rush can't talk about any of these other things. I don't know if Obama wears a flag pin. If it were me, I'd probably wear the pin. Hell I'd wear two pins if I thought it would distract Rush from talking about my ears. Back in college when I was going to Oklahoma City University, I used to listen to Rush almost every day. I like talk radio, and he's just about the only talk radio in the area (that I can remember). My favorite parts of his show are when the enraged Liberals call-in - much more entertaining than the double-ditto good ol boy caller who loves Rush more than his J... But...you can talk about how he brings HopeChange for unicorns and sunshine! /sarc But...you can talk about how he brings HopeChange for unicorns and sunshine! /sarc If he's chillin' out with terrorists and having communion with the preacher who loves to hate, then we have serious problems. If he's lacking in experience [...]All those issues are really big "red flags", at least for me! The POTUS should have a fundamental grasp on American foreign policy without having his cabinet members "connect the dots" for him on basic facts. I don't listen to talk radio, if I have a choice I used to ask my dad who he was voting for and he always said, "I'm voting NO"I'm with your dad. I'm following Bob Barr (libertarian), but sadly, I think he wo... Ah, Merrie, why do you tempt me again? Obama has hung out with no terrorists. He has not advocated hanging out with terrorists (although McCain, when Hamas came to power, advocated talking to them, and recently Rice, Gates, and Powell have advocated talking to Iran). I'm with Alanocu: both conservatives and liberals (and, I'd add, libertarians) have valid arguments - strong points - the influence of which are badly needed. Distortion and exaggeration, tho' - well, seems to me they throw America off the track, and the beauty of one's position - even one's libertarian position - gets lost in the schlock. Ah, Merrie, why do you tempt me again?Masbury, you seem to be insinuating that I'm interested in your opinion. I can assure you that I'm not, and I don't appreciate your tedious speechs. My apologies. I'm just so confused about this election But honestly, I've learned a lot from your clips merrie, and you always present them in a sincere way, without being over-the-top. I was just looking at another clip (I won't say who), but the heading was "IS SHE NUTS!!!!!!", (being Hillary). I don't really care to even open a clip like that. One other thing is that you are very good about viewing and popping other clips on the site. You stay active and involved, which is a great thing. I am so more likely to view and pop someone's clip if they're a team player, even if I don't always agree with the message. One other thing is that I am a really big cry-baby, and my comments are never meant to be mean-spirited. I try and use silly smiley faces to show when I'm sitting here smiling and typing But overall, I want Clipmarks to be fun and enjoyable, and not stressful. You always have great comments, sincere, kind; and I really appreciate that. Thanks you for your kind comments! I always look forward to reading your clips and comments. I totally "get it" about reading clips that are sorta' mean-spirited. You are so generous with your time and patient when I'd probably be rude I appreciate your positive, kind-hearted attitude, as do so many other clippers. I agree about the Democrats campaign, as it's losing it's momentum and I'm losing interest. (But, I have to admit I kinda' like Hillary, now.) |
