If the perception is that she is held in high esteem by a "large" portion of the population, then regardless of the batshit method she uses or the 99.9% crackpipe exaggerations in her message... this particular demographic finds "something" she says to be relevant or true or very important to them.

I agree with a great deal of Ann Coulter's messages, and I'm not offended by people chewing her up one side and down the other. Neither is she. Ann Coulter has marketed herself EXACTLY the way she wants to be viewed.

honestly though, i don't think those are fair comparisons at all. the words you used would never come out of my mouth to describe people, yet i have no hesitation using the words i did to describe coulter. they are words that describe her behavior and her opinions....not her race or sexuality. very big difference in my opinion.

Insulting words that have to do with a person's behavior or opinions are OK. Insulting words that have to do with a person's "race" or other physical characteristics are not OK. Got it.

But for the record, I do think that sexual preference is a behavior, an expressed opinion, and thus the hateful words people use to describe those who don't have the same opinion as they do are OK.
