fivexfast says: Seriously...listen to the whole thing. Bitch is crazy...and delusional...and on drugs. We unfortunately see this type of behavior on both sides of the isle. There are many intelligent, well-reasoned individuals who take things to the extreme in order to distinguish themselves and capitalize on the in-your-face, jackass stunts, over-the-top fanaticism being demanded by our ADHD society. Yeah, but most of them aren't held in such high esteem. This batshit crazy lady has been on television every night since her book came out. The guy conducting the interview gave a bad name to radio hosts all over the country by letting her completely dominate the interview. Lame, lame, lame. Name some people on the other side of the aisle that are just as ridiculous of Ms. Ann. excluding: harry belafonte, cindy sheehan, ward churchhill & the dixie chicks... why? ...because they aren't quite as influential to "their base" as ann coulter. Bitch is crazy...and delusional...and on drugs.no need to listen to the interview to know that. It's great for the morning, though...almost better than the high-priced crack she probably smokes. The end is the best part... "I have to go, I'm very popular right now." Yes you are. i wish i could take comfort in the fact that she is so obviously a miserable person, but she is having such a negative impact on this world that i simply can't find anything positive. Yeah...she doesn't seem so happy, or comfortable in her skin(-tight dresses). She wasn't always this nuts, though. I think it began when she got a monthly column gig with the now defunct George magazine. Crazy Authors = Rich Authors Yeah, but most of them aren't held in such high esteem.Sure they are. It just depends on who's holding them in high esteem. There are wacko's from every political viewpoint that have someone hoisting them up on a pedestal. If the perception is that she is held in high esteem by a "large" portion of the population, then regardless of the batshit method she uses or the 99.9% crackpipe exaggerations in her message... this particular demographic finds "something" she says to be relevant or true or very important to them. Hmmmm... "Bitch" "Crazy" "Delusional" "On Drugs" How compatible are those words with the "Clipmarks Way?" How is it that the word "bitch" is more acceptable than the word "faggot" for example? Would I continue to be welcome here if I called somone a retarded nigger faggot? Pleae note - I apologize for the above sentence. I *never* use those words either in speech or thought. And I think people who do so are blustering nimrods. I'm trying to make a point that the words used to describe Ms Coulter are just as offensive as those disgusting words. Damn trav while your response did go over the top just a tad, I have to agree somewhat because I was called on using the term "faggot" when I meant it in a non-sexual preference way when I said it. I think everyone needs to just chill and realize they're only words. The only word even semi-offensive is "bitch." The other words can be used to describe someone's opinion on her bahavior. I agree with a great deal of Ann Coulter's messages, and I'm not offended by people chewing her up one side and down the other. Neither is she. Ann Coulter has marketed herself EXACTLY the way she wants to be viewed. To think otherwise would be to believe that Jerry Springer is honestly surprised when guests on his "I'm cheating on my wife with her sister" show break out into a fight. travis, to compare those two sets of words like you did makes you "crazy, delusional and on drugs"....JUST KIDDING OF COURSE honestly though, i don't think those are fair comparisons at all. the words you used would never come out of my mouth to describe people, yet i have no hesitation using the words i did to describe coulter. they are words that describe her behavior and her opinions....not her race or sexuality. very big difference in my opinion. OK, that sounds fair. Insulting words that have to do with a person's behavior or opinions are OK. Insulting words that have to do with a person's "race" or other physical characteristics are not OK. Got it. But for the record, I do think that sexual preference is a behavior, an expressed opinion, and thus the hateful words people use to describe those who don't have the same opinion as they do are OK. |
