For a less savory stand that David Letterman took, see this clip, where he mocks and dismisses Harvey Pekar, who brought up the issue of his parent company's anti-union stand. Any serious person who submits to interviews with comedians is foolish for doing so. Looks like Dave will be on the new Hollywood blacklist for those opposing Bush. I disagree. I think Bush, his policies, and perhaps the Republicans in general are becoming very unpopular. That mainstream entertainers like David Letterman and The Simpsons creative team are criticizing him reflect that. They are not taking brave stands. They are just blowing with the wind. Letterman needs a course in civility, and history. Talk about an uneducated fool. Right & O'Reilly is civil... and knows his history... yes.. have you watched his show? that was one of his best shows, fucking hilarious. though i found O'Reilly even funnier than Letterman Well, that so many Americans believe in that is not amazing at all! I'm from Europe and the general American population is not looked up on with much favorism or as particularly smart either! So to me it's not that amazing, what's more amazing is when some one like angstless come along, now that's cool! He/she get's it more. |
