In short; people want anything other than Capitalism.

I am 52 and a lot of my friends would concur with this clip. Values are not a function of age, but currents of convictions you hold inside. The system you rail against is the result of greed and selfishness and a consciousness of "me" and "mine," as opposed to "we" and "us." I think that in the upcoming months the tides are going to turn toward more altruistic and fair attitudes.

We've been waiting for the tides to turn from greed to altruism for centuries, but all we get is greater and greater greed. The Altruism isn't going to come on it's own; it needs to be triggered by something big that can't be ignored.
