Got to have some reason to justify their continued existence. I don't know what the big secrecy is. Show it to the people &, if it is legit, they'll shut up. If you go on ignoring the people, it makes you look even more suspicious. I'm not a fan of the guy but I never really gave much credence to this claim, however, after so much has been built up over it & he hasn't produced any evidence or even an explanation, it makes one wonder if there is more behind it. Personally, I wouldn't trust but maybe one or two in DC & even those I would be leary of.  It's been tossed out as frivolous by a judge; hopefully the rest will follow suit. It's been public for months now, but the conspiracy theorists aren't ready to give in. It has never been made public. There have been pictures released a a certification of live birth, but that isn't the same as a birth certificate. Hawaii officials claim they have the official birth certificate, and there is no reason to doubt that. The question is why hasn't it been released. The man's qualifications are in question by some and all it would take is the release of that one document to silence those questions. Why all the secrecy? I thought he was going to have the most open administration ever. After all the clamoring of secrecy during the Bush administration, you would think some of the more honest folks on the left would be telling Obama to just release the damn thing already and be done with it. what does his birth certificate have to do with it? Unless it reveals his biological father to be someone other than non-immigrant, non-U.S. citizen, Barack Obama Sr.. He(BO Jr.) is not eligible for POTUS simply by virtue of the fact that he is the child of a foreigner. U.S.Constitution ART.II Sec1 . (natural born citizen includes hereditary right not just territorial req) If it(bc) also points to a foreign birth then he is an illegal alien since his mother would have failed to meet the standards necessary to automatically pass on her citizenship to her foreign born child. ertjo89, his mother was a United States citizen, and that is the only standard required. There is no residency timeframe or any of the other BS required. Ok, let's use a little common sense here. Why would he spend almost $1,000,000.00 on legal fees to fight any action to open his undergraduate and graduate records. I understand that Occidental College has been ordered by a Federal Court (under the Freedom of Information Act) to release his records. The records show he attended as a foreign student on a grant that only foreign students were eligible for. The records also show he claimed Indonesia as his country of citizenship. His Mother, even if she had registered his birth to the State of Hawaii, was not eligible to pass on American citizenship to him due to her age, length of time in the US and a few other factors that must be met. He att... Ye gods, theboss3, exactly how far behind on the information highway are you? All these things have been debunked, discredited. Do you honestly believe if it were as simple as a birth certificate, that he'd be President today? |
