Thanx CB but it is too easy to dismiss OCD and blame other triggers to any disorder. These people need help with their OCD and the eating disorder will fix itself.

You're right. OCD is quite overlooked really. And as you mentioned it does take many forms; from mild to quite extreme. I imagine the symptoms are often treated without realizing the true cause..

I am fascinated by anorexia......you gotta check out the "Pro-ANA" sites all over the net, just a total other-world these women reside in. Some great (but very sad) docs free online as well, saw one recently called "THIN"

There is a question that has been whispering in the back of my mind for years, and I believe Clipmarks just may be the place to ask it : Is anorexia a "western" phenomenon or is anorexia a problem in third world/developing parts of the world as well?
