At the present time, there is a disconnect between the laws on the consumption of raw milk and the <A target="_blank" href="http://www.ftcldf.org/docs/21_CFR_1240.61_pasteurization.pdf">laws on its sale</A>. While the consumption of raw milk is legal in all fifty states, the sale of raw milk is illegal in about half the states.
