This story typifies what few options there are to resist the "drill-drill-drill" fossil "bidness". The greedy people aren't giving up their gravy train easily, are they? The fact that he actually understands how civil disobedience works (you disobey the law that you believe is wrong, and then you go to prison if you get convicted, you don't whine about how you ought to get away without any consequences because you were making a statement) makes me want to send $20 to the buy-the-land/bail-him-out-of-trouble fund. And I admit, I laughed out loud when I first read the story. Go, guy! Love it. |
