Quite an interesting take on the current situation in Iran, written by Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury during President Reagan’s first term and former Associate Editor of the Wall Street Journal.

If you're into "conspiracy theories" and covert CIA operations etc (as I am), the whole piece is an interesting, though not surprising, read.

Perhaps, but I see a bit of, well no other way to out it so, racism.

An assumption that a)Iranians are not savvy enough to do this on their own.

b)that everything in the world happens due solely (yeah I know, I said it, go figure) on Western (American) intervention.

On the contrary! The Iranians are very well-educated and informed. It's what the media feeds us, I am questioning. Here's an interesting piece:
