every once in awhile i read something that just makes me wanna shout- HELP ME!?..this is one of those things- especially when keeping in mind the sentiments depicted in the picture w/ caption they offer up-

Keep in mind that this is not a serious proposition – the person who put it forward did so to draw attention to the idiocy of arguments like "same-sex marriage will harm traditional marriage".

The person proposing a fertility test before marriage wasn't serious either.

None of those people who claim that they're trying to "protect marriage" has any intention of actually doing anything that really protects marriage.

I'm inspired by my own big brother; he was engaged for 5 years before he married his highschool sweetheart; giving them time to really get to know each other well; giving them time to be with each other after the blush of First Love wore off to see if they really were compatible with each other at the worst of times as well before they married.

They're still very happily married, and unlike most married couples, still the very best of friends.
