This story interests me as last year , my stepfather underwent heavy chemo and treatment and is now dead....while another man, his friend, refused chemo ...and is alive and well. On the other hand, my mother had crushingly powerful chemo 16 years ago after being diagnosed with breast cancer....and she was free and well up until it (damn) recently came back.

Seems like the luck of the draw.....
